Dear Colleagues, The Association of New York State Youth Bureaus is hosting its 39th Annual Conference on October 5th and 6th, 2009 at the Liverpool Holiday Inn near Syracuse New York. It has never been more important for us to remain connected and to improve our capacity to deliver quality programming to our youth and communities while building and sustaining our organizations. We know that you and your funded programs have worked hard to have a positive and lasting and effect on the lives of the youth and families that you serve. Please consider sharing your these efforts with your colleagues at our annual conference. To do this, we ask that you review the attached program proposal request forms and submit your proposals to provide timely and effective workshops to a host of youth development professionals across New York State. Additionally, we encourage you to forward this request to your funded programs and other partners who may be able to share their success and best practices with others. The success of our Annual Conference is dependent on you, so, please make every effort to assist us in securing effective workshops. Due to the time restraints, please note that workshop proposals are due by the close of business on June 19th, 2009. Questions regarding the proposals or the process may be directed to either Pat Dieck or Patty D’Amico as indicated below. Respectfully, Patricia Dieck and Patty D’Amico Program committee co-chairs Batavia Youth Bureau Patty D'Amico, Director “Don’t prepare the path for the child, prepare the child for the path” ~anonymous |
